Bazpur is one of the seven Tehsils of Udham Singh Nagar District in Utttarakhand state. Named after freedom fighter Udham Singh this particular district came into being in 1995 having carved out of the popular tourist place Nainital. Corbett Waterfalls
Situated at a distance of 20km from the heart of Bazpur city, this is a wonderful location for the adventure lovers. Amidst thick jungles of teak wood, there goes a wonderful terrain of around 1.7km to a beautiful paradise of scenic extravaganza. The Corbett Waterfall is a 20mts high absolutely straight waterfall and an excellent place for camping. The best part of the location is the natural beauty which includes the melodious chirping of birds and the harmonious tune of water flowing of such height. In the backdrop of forest greenery, with a wide array of versatile plants, this is an ideal place to relax and rejuvenate the mind and body with family and friends. Jim Corbett Museum
Traveling a short distance of about 25km from Bazpur, one reaches to a beautiful house-turned-museum. This is Jim Corbett Museum. Not known to many visitors of the famous Corbett National Park, this beautiful yet old house provides glimpses of the life of Jim and his family. The area is clean and the place has excellent collection of flora which makes it a marvelous sightseeing option for all. It has a latent charm which cannot be ignored. Garjia Mata Temple
At a distance of nearly 43kms from Bazpur lies the beautiful temple of Garjia Devi, visited by thousands of devotees round the year. The main attraction of this temple is the fact that it is based over a giant rock amidst Kosi River. It is considered as one of the holy shrines where puja is conducted two times each and every day. According to the locals this temple has been existing in the place for years without any damage even in the worst weather conditions like huge flood in the area. The festival which pulls in maximum number of devotees to this temple is the Kartik Poornima where a huge fair is conducted with massive celebration.

Jim Corbett National Park
Another nearby attraction to Bazpur is the famous Jim Corbett National Park, the oldest one in the country. Built in by the famous hunter-turned-conservationist and ecologist Jim Corbett in 1936 this park was previously named as Hailey National Park. The main objective of the park is the Project Tiger which is aimed at protecting the survival of Indian wildlife and the dying out species of Bengal Tiger.

Nainital
At a distance of around 55kms from Bazpur lies the beautiful and popular tourist destination Nainital.
